Citroen XM: The Competitors

It is quite difficult for Citroen XM to compete with the German business class models. In spite of the comfort and high performance characteristics this French automobile concedes to BMW 5-series, Mercedes E-class, and Audi A6 in terms of prestigiousness, liquidity while subsequent sale, power plants range, dynamic characteristics, and equipment. The most serious XM's competitors are the automobiles produced by the French manufacturers and they are Peugeot 605 and Renault Safrane.

Peugeot 605. The same as XM however without "magic" suspension and of traditional design. If you need an automobile but not a spacecraft 605 is the right choice.

Renault Safrane. One more French of lower maintenance costs but it is less startling indeed. However there is a version provided with air suspension and all-wheel drive especially for those who like being the center of attention. One air element for this car costs more that all XM's spheres!
