Citroen Jumper: The History of the Model

It was in 1994 that Citroen Jumper was first introduced. Jumper is the result of Citroen, Peugeot, and FIAT engineers' cooperation. Progressive construction allowed this automobile to occupy its place on the European market in a fairly short period of time although this market is known for dog-eat-dog competition and for being uncompromising. The introduction of an all-wheel drive modification in 1996 spurred up the growth of the model's popularity.

New generation of Citroen Jumper introduced in 2002 was even more successful. The automobile featured simple and reliable chassis construction of the previous generation while the power plants and the automobile design were restyled. The automobile became more dynamic and expressive thanks to the updated optics, new bumper with fog headlamps, and to an original false gitter. The saloon was seriously restyled. New instrumentation panel, comfortable seats, and a great number of pockets and niches made this commercial motor almost the same as expensive minivan if talking about comfort level. The restyled Jumper now boasts of a better series kitting-up. The level of passive safety was improved thanks to the air bags and to the pyrotechnical retractors.
