Citroen Berlingo: The History of the Model

Citroen Berlingo was put in production in 1996. The automobile construction was designed in cooperation with Peugeot concern's engineers. The novelty was warmly received by the automobile press and already in 1997 Berlingo was titled the best van in Europe.

In 2004 the model was renewed. It was the automobile design that was most of all modernized. Restyled Berlingo was provided with new headlamps, wings, hood, and bumpers. Instrumentation panel was almost completely changed. This new design reminds of Citroen C3. The automobile boasts of many nice little things like large pockets on the doors, numerous shelves and pockets for small stuff, glass holders, a drawer under the passenger seat, and so on.

Berlingo doesn't differ much from its predecessor technically. The construction of most automobile components as well as power plant range remained unchanged.
